Dad Walks 5-Yr-Old Daughter To 1st Day Of School. 13 Yrs Later, Their 2nd Photo Has Internet In Tears.

2 pictures recently went viral on Twitter that will warm your heart. 

Jason Gayler in Alvord, Texas was going through his photographs when he found a picture of him walking his five-year-old daughter, Brittany, to school on her first day of Kindergarten.

Now, 13 years later after that original picture was taken, Brittany is about to graduate from Alvord High School.

Since Brittany posted the pictures, her Tweet has gone viral with almost 15k retweets and 64k likes.

“It brings me great joy if we were able to help people think back to that time, even if just for a brief moment, and smile,” Jason told Today. “I can hope that one day when I’m old I can look back at this and smile!”
